planning some big trips this year and just came across this on another guzzi site

" All CARC models have an internal fuel filter and pump and unless it has been changed the filter will be a Mahle KL150 which is half plastic.
These can and do split at the join and this will stop the bike immediately, no warning."

Obviously I don't believe anything unless I read it on the ghetto. And I was once royally screwed by a submerged fuel hose coming loose on a 2000s Cali, spent a nice 2 hours in the offside lane of a dual carriage way overpass, having to hold my bike upright for about half an hour until a bike stopped to help me out.

what say you all??? Is this a thing?

Complete rubbish. GRiSO's have the Mahle KL-145 which is all metal.
