Hi, I'm as well as new GRiSO owner! I'm Italian living in Spain and a few months ago I decided it was time to get a proper bike again, I check the second hands ads around me and what I see, a GRiSO 850 for sale, the seller was a (italian) friend of mine and I didn't know he owned one! So yeah, very rare bike here in Spain in its 850 version and very happy to own it!

Welcome, we never got that 850 in the USA, a pure shame. Hey, we got the SB one, no comparison. No magazines comparing BB to SB ever. GRiSO's are the best in the CARC bikes, easy to locate & get to things. .

I was actually wondering why the 850 wasn't mentioned in the forum! I'm in the process of doing the double spark plug mod on mine and couldn't see anything about it here, now I know why
The 850 is very very similar to the first 1100, engine is identical from the outside. However, it comes with 1 spark plug per cilinder (and a cap on the other hole) and no oil cooler, two things I'd like to change on mine.
What do you mean by SB and BB?
I don t have many pictures yet, I'll try to take more soon!

Not just GRiSO. The Breva and even, for police purposes, the Norge were produced as 850's.
When twin plugging it is strongly advisable to remap with a map with a modified ignition curve as otherwise you may have too much advance at certain points.
I believe Mark has done a map for a twin plugged Breva. Not sure about the GRiSO but I'd imagine that the main difference between maps for the different bikes would involve changes to the delta correction due to the GRiSO's unorthodox headers.

There was never a smallblock GRiSO Steve? The baby Breva was a smallblock but the first 850 smallblock was the V85 and now we have the strangely named V7-850 which is a bit of a head scratcher.

You guys got all, we got a few. No 940 here either. I'm glad to own old stuff. That would be an INSULT if they made a SB GRiSO.
