Took a chilly (start) ride from Savannah, GA to Charleston, South Carolina yesterday. Was about 42F (5.5C)when we took off at 9am. Bio break in SC almost got us in an unplanned Toys for Tots ride. We were headed to a Cajun restaurant for lunch and stop at a BMW, Honda & Ducati dealer so one of the guys could pick up some things he needed.
The Toys for Tots Ride: and there were another 50 bikes in other areas of the parking lot [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Cajun Joint- and it was great [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Muffaletta sandwich... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Deep fried allegator tail- "taste like chicken" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The bikes: 2 BMW's, 1 FJR and the mighty GRiSO...... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Luck of the draw. Pretty cool.
I I was going to the Springfield Mile race one year on my LM3 and knew some guys in town. Meeting up with them I ran into a MS Charity ride. For a donation you go on a parade to track and make a lap around. HELL YA. When I got to my seat I was next to an old Guzzi dealer from IA . Asked if that was me on the LeMans. The only Moto Guzzi that's ever been around the mile track. Made my weekend.
Pretty Cool when things come together unexpectedly. That was 1986, life on the farm was grand!
