A Pefect one

I burped this 16 Red Devil to life in Feb 16 and did 1st service soon after. Today 6 1/2yrs later it got a Beetle map & TB sync. It's still bone stock, canister now disconnected. No errors in 44K miles, almost perfect sync. The TPS was still 4.6 and even after the sync.
Not a leak and never an issue.
It's just nice to see the real good ones. Owner care & maintenance goes a long way. One of the last I set up new at the Dealers I worked at.

Nice to Hear That! I've got a little more than half that mileage on my 17 and it's been solid as a rock! I'm pretty strict when it comes to service and maintenance on my machines and it does pay off.

Checked throttle bodies once and didnt change a thing. The third time checking the valves, I didnt change a thing. My TPS changed once (can't remember what it was) after my first valve adjustment, but hasn't moved since. I purchased a Beetle map for the stock pipe a little while ago but have not installed it yet.

I'm ready for my fifth set of tires ... in the spring.

Nice to read about good running machines. I think Guzzi may have worked out most of their issues by the time the 15-17's came around.

I agree.  My Norge recently purchased with 48,000 Miles on it had the original TBS and TPS setting at 5.0 when I received it and ran OK and idled fine from the original owner. Just much S M O O T H E R now that I have done those closer tolerance things to bring it into the "Norm" 4.6 TPS and TBS balance carbtune vacume compliance.
