Hello from the NW UK!

Greetings all

Joined the GRiSO club at the start of the year, after I swapped my '83 CX500 Eurosport for an '09 GRiSO 1200 8V.
I was originally tempted when that new v100 was announced but 1. it's been a year since they teased it and 2. tight fisted. Happy little accident since I really do love this motorcycle.
she's got few changes, most of which were done before meeting her:

- Bar end mirrors
- downpipe wrap
- Reupholstered saddle
- swapped the TomTom plug for a USB

She's been rollerized and it was practically the first words out of my mouth when I saw her listed. She's got a very light clutch pull of just 12Kg, down from 14 when I exchanged the groady black water in the master cylinder for Dot4.
I'm often found near the border counties or in North Wales. If you see a bloke on a black GRiSO, in a red jacket, with a bloody huge left arm (from all that clutch work   ) you've almost certainly seen me.

I've just read the post, yeah. I'm terribly sorry to hear what's happened.

Your posts on lightening your clutch pull were what got me to join the forum, too. Hope I've not been a bad omen on you

well it is 43,000 mile and i have been doing 7k per annum
So i expected some things to be wearing away but the gearbox is a shockler
