Am I missing a part? The photocopied instructions from stein-dinse are murky, but assure me that everything is delivered for a ready fit. They delivered the silencer assembled with a connecting pipe, the screwclamp and a catalytic. But this pipe is not just ‘slipping on’ - it needed heat to get just this far and it’s still 2cm shy of where it needs to be…. This can’t be right.
and wow, that factory silencer is HEAVY.

It's on and mounted properly on it's bracket, with all the Italian precision I could muster. It needed a ratcheting tie-down, a flame thrower and a busted pipe expander, but it's on. My wife does question my mechanical aptitude, but thanks to the Ghetto I've adjusted valves, balanced TBs, flashed an ECU, reset a TPS, removed a cannister, and finally, most difficultly, pushed a slip-on silencer onto a pipe. Suspension next. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
