| Hi, wondering if anyone has a part number. The side panel plastics are help by three screws. Two of which are hex head/allen screws at the top edge, the third is a 7mm socket which sits at the front bottom of the panel. I cant seem to find it on the parts lists, does anyone have a part number for this 7mm socket screw? | |

| Do you mean the 'wings' around the cylinder heads? What Guzzi call the "duct"? Mine are held by 3 of the 5mm hex pan head chromed screws marked as No 2 on ther attached parts book page the rear two go into speed nuts on the frame the front one (through the black plastic) goes in to a rubber bush holding a nut that sits in the frame [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I get mine at Speedy Fastners £1.20 each plus postage - they are m5x16 with the correct 3mm deep shoulder to protect the plastic Linky for bodywork screws | |

| ....Bargain & great to know - Thanks !. Even though the bottom two are actually shorter, they can easily take longer screws | |

| I don't know where the 7mm socket is?
The rear bodywork is also secured by 5mm panhead allens.

Yes, I bought the bike with the crash bars installed. Perhaps that bolt came with the crash bars replacing the Allen screw?

| It'll still be an M5 bolt, just longer to carry the crash bar - I checked & it's 0.8 pitch in case you want to look for similar (M5x length x 0.8 ).....TBH when you look at the size of the bolt & the thread carrying braze on cast bit behind the wing; you'd think a 5MM Crashbar would be more in keeping with the overall strength of the mounting point | |
