Since adopting and finally bringing the GRiSO home, I've started the lump just a half dozen times until today when 'click' - nothing, no explosions, no noise. I consulted the GrisoGhetto Oracle, and in 30 minutes we were going again. It felt like an initiation.
I'd been away from motorbikes for years when I decided to buy a Svartpilen 401 (like the farmbikes I'd used to bring in the cows, 20+ years ago), and now I've realized what I've been missing. GRiSO's my gnarly 'grail bike', unapologetically industrial, that fits with all the extended Italian family I've married into, gets me credit with my Roman boss and will drive my brother in NZ crazy with jealousy (he said he's selling his XR8 to get a Guzzi).
