(Now) MY GRiSO (N. Illinois)

Hello all,
Long time Lurker, first time poster! Very Happy

I bought this 2012 GRiSO 8VSE;

I bought it from a fellow in Chicago, who only owned it a few months, then had to sell, due to an upcoming hip replacement Sad

So, it was purchased new in St. Louis last year (from a now-closed Guzzi dealer), sold by a different dealer(Moto Europa, St Louis) to Tiger_One (Louisiana). He was awesome enough to install some very nice suspension upgrades (Race Tech R shock, front springs), and install a very nice fuel map! He then sold it to the dude in Chicago, who installed the Guzzi windshield and Stucchi rear rack, along with a brand new set of Michelin PR4s! cheers

It also has the Mistral Cone slip-on muffler w/db killer.

Are y'all with me so far? Rolling Eyes

So...I purchased it last month, checked/changed oils, filters, valves, etc. Just got GuzziDiag running, reset TPS, saved map, etc.

That's where I am today! I've put over 1,000 miles on it since last month, and she runs very well. I rode it last weekend to the Peoria TT, where she sat in a sea of HD Black & Chrome, stealing the looks of most savvy passers-by with her sexy Tenni livery!!

The thing I am most surprised by, is the handling - SO Solid around the turns!!

Me? I'm just an average American motor-cycle junkie, with a garage full of Italian, Jap, & British metal. E. Engineer for the US Gubmint.
