I’m sitting here on a cold night wondering if I will ever ride/ own a GRiSO. And if I did want to own one, which would be my best choice. Keep in mind, I am drooling over the V 100, I currently have a V85 TT, a Ducati scrambler that I have made rideable with upgrades. Also have a 790 Adv, 390 Adv, and an old 73 Puch. I truly love the V88TT, and Guzzi in general, and wonder what the build quality of the GRiSO is like. I find the V85 is above and beyond any of the other eight guzzi’s I have owned. So I guess I need to be sold on the GRiSO, and what to replace to fit a GRiSO in. Mighty high thoughts for a 77 year old, but that’s only a number, right,

Welcome Phil. It sounds like you have a nice garage full of "keepers".
IMHO, any year GRiSO is good. All have their plus's and minus's. Older model make less power, and who cares? They make lots of torque, with character. Never models make more power, and torque, but do we use it in daily riding?
Read up on the little frustrating issues and pick your poison. But, you can't have mine for a long time......

Welcome to the Ghetto, Phil. I think you'll find that most respondents here are in love with their Grisos for as many reasons as there are members. I'm on my second one and still gaga for GRiSO!

Phil,
I seem to recall that you let me ride your LeMans 19 years ago (!), thus causing me to buy a Ballabio I didn't even know I "needed" until then.
Come back to Cross Junction -- Pro Tip: wait for the thaw! -- and take mine around the block ... or state!

Hello Bill, yes I did let you ride my LeMans. I rode it to NC once, and had a sciatic nerve problem for a month afterwards, damn those pegs were high. Any problems with your GRiSO, and what is beetleized?

Betleised is when you have all the mechanical problems sorted, if any and you put in a beetle- map to make it run like it should.

Phil,
Buy the bike before I do and I've got one already! Tenni GRiSO is a unicorn and once you address the tappets the rest is easy thanks to this site.
