I understand your demand for style , but are you converting to Givi now since you are buying Onurs lock or can you use it on the Guzzi-bag?

no...I'm just reassembling...

I take off the SW Motech (screwed) and mount the GIVI underneath.

In any case, my "converted" Guzzi tank bag remains.
I don't want to have a GIVI or anything else on it.

I am only interested in the aluminium tank ring.

For that I still have to invest in the top ring from GIVI....
Expensive, but if you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer... or my GRiSO.

no I need the GIVI upper ring for the conversion. I am selling the SW Motech tank ring and the SW Motech top ring.

I ended up getting the 5L bag first as it's perfect for commuting and day trips.

Will get a larger one for travels down the track a little.

I saw them on Mr Bob's bike.
I also liked the look and thought that they might help with deflecting cold air during our winter.
The Carbons (and their mounting brackets bought separately) were very expensive, so I originally got the cheap plastic guards that came with mounts included (https://barkbusters.net/products/vps/3472-vps-007/)
The mounts take a bit of work reducing the thickness so that they fit between the reservoirs and the bars.
(You can also put washers in the reservoir mounts to space them out a bit further, but that will move the levers out also).

Even though the plastic & carbon ones look very similar, it turns out the plastic ones mount in a different and less effective position to the carbon ones.
Luckily, my neighbour started working at a local bike shop and was able to sell me the carbon ones at a greatly reduced price.

Note that in these photos are the mounts that came with the plastic set, not the correct recommended set which are wider & sturdier.
