Onurs Handlebar Risers Empty
PostSubject: Onurs Handlebar Risers    Onurs Handlebar Risers Icon_minitime1Wed Jan 05, 2022 11:29 am

Back when I bought my GRiSO late September 2021 my only nag with the bike initially was the riding position, it crooked my giraffe like neck.
Over distance it lessened some but knew it would always pain me from the getgo.
I have no issues reaching the bars with my orang utan ape like arms.

Research did not return what was hoping to find, some risers that were just that risers.
Ended up with these things from Gutsibits, doubt anyone will recall but the first set I received were two different sizes, top half 25mm and bottom 28mm.

These things raise the height by 30mm and move the rider back by 22mm Shocked
Put it this way if you suffer from bad back as well as a crooked neck, these things will position you bolt upright. talk about neutral riding postions.
Sit up and beg as neutral as neutral gets.
Bloke what bought my Termignoni was well impressed as he had a bad back at the time, offered to flog them to him half price if ever had them up for sale.
£40 plus shipping if anybody wants them before I post them public as mateys gone silent.
All packaged just like I got them.
Slight downside is they sort of block access to the ignition on full lock if you have hands like shovels.

Whilst perusing the classifieds stumbled upon Onurs advert for his risers.

Now these were exactly what I was looking for, can't believe no numpty companies are producing these.
Then again I suppose the others are sort of universal fittment and Onurs are specialised.

Upon contacting Onur towards the end of October found out he was in Covid forced exile from Turkey (Ankara) as place had it pretty bad.
Stuck out in the country (Bodrum) with nothing but farmland and no tools to make anything.
Said he would be back in Ankara around Crimble.

Shipped me some risers on the 28th December then informed me Very Happy  said not to pay until received them Shocked
Had to use Western Union an age old process to pay, super slick that place, feels nice and secure.
Paid by card and he received it by cash in minutes Cool
28th includes new years eve, new years day and a bank hol 8 days pretty good.
Even cleaned them before sending Smile

To be honest if you need instructions for that job maybe get someone else to do it.
30 mins if you rush, 45 taking your time and 1 hour with a cuppa only I aint got no amenities.

Look so much better, stealthy, unless you know you don't know they are fitted, retains the similar riding position only not so low.
No more crooked neck, no more lack of ignition switch access.

Well done Onur many thanx for a job well done  Cool
