Fuel Tank Seems Wrong? Empty
PostSubject: Fuel Tank Seems Wrong?   Fuel Tank Seems Wrong? Icon_minitime1Sun Sep 19, 2021 1:15 pm

Had this bike a week now, spent most of the time cleaning 6 years worth of neglect. Admittedly owner only did 1700 miles.
Engine oil seems perfect, believe was changed last summer it's fully synth so hardly about to implode.
Only problem I see with the engine oil is it being well over the full mark cold, be syphoning some of that off tomorrow.
Clutch fluid was dark brown as was rear brake.
Front pads have a month left in them past the min line then be on the metal. Ordered new will change front fluid same time fit them.
Prob do gearbox and shaft drive as a starting point.
Tire pressures were 21 rear 20 front Shocked Spokes are mostly shot to f*ck with rust, a little bit of maintenace goes a long way neglect gets you dead.
Gonna fit some black spoke sleeves and decide if going to pick up some second hand Brembo cast wheels.
Is there any specific high temp paint to match the gearbox to the shaft and crankcases. Oil cooler seemed to be this black, gearbox now certainly is Laughing
Had to paint the gearbox as had streaks of brake fluid all down down it.
Anybody want a Termignoni in the UK?

Noticed the left side of the fuel tank is not sitting close the the frame as the other side, normal? resting on something underneath? Doubt its swollen as not seen E10.
