Aw, I'm sure someone did some math on that! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The elephant in the calculation is the volume of air being 'rammed' through the bigger area cooler inlet (and the new pressure drop the 'special venturi plate' causes that flow)..........Bernoulli probably didn't ride a motorcyle but if he did, he would have ridden a GRiSO

I am not sure that that cover will increase extraction through the Bernouilli effect as the decrease in pressure at right angles to the air flow flow occurs where the air speed increases. But with that cover the passign air is being squeezed out of the holes marked Guzzi and back into the cooler before the narrow point so the air speed may not increase markedly. Guys, forget the fluid dynamic shite. The design is a complete wank.

OMG...not again..just in time for halloween...I experienced the great Bernouilli wars on the 928 forum for far, far too long...
Completely irrelevant drivel then clicky

Flow dynamics is like ice-cream; two scoops is always better than one

I bought one of these from Stucci, cheap as chips, ordered Tuesday night arrived this morning. Funny cus received the shipped notice after it arrived. £35 plus £11 shipping am impressed. Prob old stock they are trying to get rid of. Not sure if should paint it black or the cooler.

Turns out..not so efficient. Went for a ride yesterday and it was 27C ambient (~80F). No improved engine cooling. Engine temperature quickly rose to 118C and stayed there.

I got mine too. Instructions are awful. Took the factory part off, now I need to figure out what their tiny photos and terrible text descriptions mean.
