It's a 2006 with genuine 5600 miles. Love it! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Looks veryy good! Did you manage to find one without the giggling shock absorber? Enjoy the sweet ride

It came with some extras including a loud pipe, put the original on now and it runs better. A firm ride, mediocre brakes and power but handles quite well. I'll leave the shocks alone for the time being.

I would strongly recommend looking at the shock linkage and swingarm bearings rather than trusting they are OK even if you are happy with the suspension.

Hi Laurie I strongly agree with Pete's advice re supension bearings.
The linkages have the same style of low down exposed needle rollers that Kawasaki used in the 80s - with the same results, UK road salt eats them alive.
Mine were totally fecked at 28 thou miles - it will be a 2 year service job for me from now on

Welcome to the Ghetto, Laurie! My first GRiSO was a red 2007. Loved that one for 50,000 miles.

Welcome Laurie ... really nice looking bike ... mind you I'm a bit bias because mine shares the same colour scheme including front wind breaker. 2006 model. But 850 not 1100. I see you have put the original pipe back on ... I just took mine off today and replaced with Italian Mistral. Four month wait. Can I recommend -if you haven't done it yet- to get the bike mapped with a Beetle Map. Makes a material difference. Lastly, if you struggle with the handle bars try Ferracci risers ... other than the swing arm service as others recommend your bike will turn heads wherever you go. Enjoy!![You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
