| Hello
Two days ago I was cruising on a nice road while suddenly the motor of my GRiSO 1100 died. No strange sounds, no warning light, no smoke, no blocking of the wheels. It just did not fire anymore. Like if I had run out of gas. I pulled over and tried to start it again. The starter motor works but the engine does not come alive. All electronics work fine.
It got towed to the local dealer but he is very busy. He just had time to check: The sparks plugs do spark The fuel pump pumps gasoline into the system
I recently (~500km) changed the oil and did the valves clearances. Any clue on what could be the problem?

| Well my 1200 Sport did that 2 times on me. Both times the little hose between the fuel pump and the filter had slipped off. Double clamping solved that pain in the butt little problem. | |

| This is what I thought as well but he seems to say that there is pressure at the injectors.im gonna try to go and have a look at the bike as soon as I can | |

Fuel and spark is what you need. Did the dealer determine the fuel injectors were actually working, or just the fuel pump? Could the wiring to the fuel injector(s) have come off? Moto

| Same thing happened to mine recently. Had just filled up with fuel.
Little hose in the tank had popped off. Lucky was outside a friendly car dealership who had a bucket and fuel containers. Bit of a pain taking off and draining the tank on a busy road in London. Not good.

| Early bikes they didn't use a submersible hose in the tank. Make sure it is replaced with a submersible hose. | |

| I missunderstood the dealer on the phone and he had only checked through the electronics that the pump was turning. In the end it was indeed the pump hose that had come loose. We ordered a replacement and will do the swap today. Good occasion to change the inner spark plugs that are still stock after 40k Km. | |

| I hope he's using a decent fully submersible hose not just another replacement from Guzzi? If he uses what the factory sends it'll probably blow off again next week! | |

| I thought that was part of a recall campaign in some regions...one would think that they would improve the failing part after that... I'm gonna make sure he uses the right stuff. | |

| Was stuck at the side of the road put a couple of skinny cable ties on and got home.
Still yet to replace the hose. Have not rode it since.
Use some Ethanol Proof fuel hose.

| Not just ethanol resistant. It has to be fully submersible or you're on a hiding to nothing. | |

| Antmanbee listed it in another thread recently, can't remember if it was on the Ghetto or another board. I can never remember the exact designation off the top of my head but I do have some somewhere, I'll try and dig it out. | |

| Because you're in the UK , you could use this (link) from ebay.
I fitted this hose to my 1100 in 2013.

| It's the SAE 30R10 bit that is important I believe. | |
