Helmet speakers

I've never really listened to music while I ride but for those times when you are covering miles on the Highway to get somewhere, I thought they might help pass the time.

There are some more expensive options out there but as much of my $'s are supposed to go elsewhere, I was hoping to get some suggestions for the cheaper solutions.

As I normally ride with earplugs, I tried 'Plugfones' which are an earplug & earphone in one. They work but after a while the hard speaker part hurts & the earplug part deteriorates so it's not a long term solution.

Can you get in helmet speakers that connect directly into an iPhone ?

Who's been down the road before ?

Slimbuds are a very nice option....bluetooth capable, very soft and conform to the ears.

UClear headset with the Pulse Pro speakers. Incredible fidelity, just Bluetooth it in.

Get a sena spend the extra money on the HD speakers much louder and better

I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair of Cardo intercoms so the wife and I can converse and she can listen to her iTunes. Up to 3/4 mile range and just $308 usd for the pair.

Love the Sena and use ear plugs awesome for all day riding without ear pain
