Fuctifino! I went for a quick ride to make sure the zorst wouldn't fall off after the welding, and decided to stop at the car wash to clean the muck off from the Budgie..and there it was! It was only around 10km, and I don't recall anything hitting the bike.

Order another set, you can fit them when we do the gearbox. On that Peter Hill reckons the Sport had a higher top but was ambivalent about lower gears. I still reckon the Sport primaries are nicer and I thought they were higher. I may of been wrong! Wouldn't be the first time!

Yes..I'm so pleased to spend $618 that I didn't really need to. The damage to the wing may require a different approach, given they're now made from unobtainium.

Wing looks repairable but if not I have a spare set. It is odd damage. Surely if you'd hit something that substantial while riding you would of known about it? I reckon it must of happened while parked too.
It's exactly this sort of fuckery that prompted me to buy a *Spare* GRiSO..

My first thought was that another bike fell on yours while parked.
Arse indeed!

This has been suggested by others as well.

Mrs Beetle suggested it happened on the way back from the Budgie. I suppose it's possible I didn't notice until I went to wash it. The only place a car could have backed into it was during my sleepover in Gilgandra. However, there were many close shaves with birds, a few rocks flicked up by trucks, and the usual array of debris hitting my boots and legs along the way, but nothing I recall that made alarm bells ring.

I wonder if this dents could be peened out from the inside? Might be worth a try, but I don't know how workable titanium is...

Titanium is as hit of a material and work hardens to buggery I believe. My guess is it would split or crack but I'm not certain.

Wow, nice blend on the paint! Any plan on the header, or just replace? Arrow setup makes it a tougher decision I expect, if that's what it is. Or roll with it as a character mark? Nothing wrong with that! Call it a torque dimple and it'll be the latest craze! I think there's a partial set (minus pretzel) on Ebay here U.S. from a dismantler, but the price is still silly.

It’s not paint. It’s just hidden by vinyl wrap.
I didn’t see those headers on eBay. They may not ship to Oz.

Just pulled in with my latest Guzzi, a 2015 GRiSO, An odd girl she is, but very likable. 360 mile round trip to capture her. I’m sleeping while I write this with no notice of stimulinents brewing or my lady waking me up, so I’ll just cozy up in the rag bin and wait.Still waiting...my eyes are getting heavy. I’ll babble to my lady friend until she tells me to shut up. Time to dismantle something, pass me the spanners Baby! Ahhh, She Loves me....coffee please my dear...and some extra Karen sauce on the side..
