This week, I pick up my eagerly awaited 2014 GRiSO. And with, comes a fresh set of Dunlop RoadSmart III tires. I'm eager to throw a leg over and ride it home.
The only owner's manual I could find was for 2010 bikes with the cast wheels, and it shows a recommended PSI of 33/36 front/rear.
For those of you running the RS3; what PSI have you settled on?

A newer user manual lists the following:
Front : 33.4PSI or for Special Edition 36.3PSI Rear : 36.3PSI or for special Edition 42.1PSI
Same pressures for solo or with pillion

All good and way ahead of you. I found those recently and the 2010 version was the most recent. I suspect not much changed between then and the 2014 model year, aside from wheels.

Ah, I see. I thought the WSM was newer, but it isn't.
Dead link, unfortunately. I did check the site and found the same MY 2010 manual. But I did snag the service manual, so that's a bonus.

I'm happy to report that after nearly 1,000 miles, the RoadSmarts were terrific. I really like these tires for sporty, heavier bikes.
I ran the recommend 33/36 pressures. The front felt great. In the rear, I may drop a PSI as the shock pre-load is quite stiff and that may soften the hard hits a bit.
Otherwise, I highly recommend this tire.

That is good to hear I found Roadsmart 3 to be excellent on an BMW 1100s - really let me chuck it around
Currently on Maxxis - because they were cheap to the dealer -no complaints but lets see how they wear..

The Maxxis front was still good and grippy at 10,000 miles, the rears were also grippy and lasted over 3,500 miles but whitelined after 3,000.
I have changed to Roadtec01 SE as they were so good on my Monster 1200s

Am running Road Smart III's after reviewing them on Blood Bikes, they seemed to reckon rears could return 7k plus. They are the tires of choice for the GRiSO by Stucci too. They are also well rated in cold and wet condtions. Out of 5 top tyres rated by Bennetts (Avon refused to supply a set)they came in 2nd or 3rd and are the most neutral of the bunch. Am currently running at SE spec 36/42 as they were fitted at those pressures. Ride is quite bumpy at 80plus dual carriageway/motorway though obviously depends on the roads. A roads 60 - 70 they seem good, maybe will try the lower pressures see what thats like. Warm up is quick and they are well chuckable.
