Decided to do a little rumble through the city, there has been shootings, revolutions, and crisis in this city for 400 years. Pancho Villa has a stash house here and today I will find it!

The little white house is where Pancho would hide weapons and ammo. When I was a kid the alligators were real!

Thanks for all of those. Just saw them.

I lived across from Biggs in 1956, and remember B-47's, B-36's, and C-124's taking off from there. Powerful stuff in the mid-50's

I also remember the (real) alligators in the that park; intersections when "Scramble" all vehicle traffic would stop and pedestrians could cross in any direction; the street cars (tho in my head they were green); and, most vividly, when we moved to Tornillo in 1956, Rosa Rivas -- who was my heart throb in the 4th grade! Wink

Was at Bliss on business in 2007. Went out to Tornillo. Saw a guy my age out walking. Retired Border Patrol agent. He was two years older, so we did not remember each other from "back in the day." He did say that Rosa was married, lived in El Paso, and was still pretty darn hot. Thumbs Up
