Was hoping the good people of the Ghetto might have some ideas on what options are available for mounting some flattering yet useful options for side bags..soft or hard on the 1200 GRiSO. Any and all with pics mounted and off will be greatly appreciated.
This machine is so much fun to ride I'm considering setting it up with detachable bags rather than using a back pack for the future.

Do a search on the forum for "Luggage". There are many posts and many pictures on this topic.

I'm a fan of the C-bow mounting system. For the GRiSO, the mounts are a simple bolt on to the frame, and can be removed in seconds (well, a few seconds).

+1 for the C-Bows. The only hard option H-B currently offers are the Orbits like I have.
That angle makes them look a bit bigger than they are. They're only 21L apiece and the handle intrusion renders some of that space less than optimally useable, but there are several soft versions that will fit the same C-Bow rack if one were to need extra space.
The bag side receptacle can also be purchased separately and fitted to other bags, but one has to be aware of the load limits imposed by the racks. It's a looks vs utility trade-off.

This is a option after buying the C-bow mounts for the Bike.. I made my rear rack adaptable to take a C-bow carrier when needed. It's a Breva, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I've used the same devices to mount Givi E21 top loading bags on my bikes with C-bow mounts. Quick and easy to use.

I've found these K-Drive bags fit onto the H&B racks & appear to hold more than the smallish H&B soft bags.
