My GRiSO pretty much finished, I'll probably satin black zircon coat the headers next.

What a beautiful bike!! LOVE that colour! Your dash... not so much. Smile

How did you get those MG eagles inside that "see-through"-tube (or whatever the name is of that tunnel that sits in the middle of the bike)?

I made them on my laser etcher. I can make you some just let me know where to send them.
They're from scrap pieces of acrylic so don't cost anything.

If I could fit the gauges from the V7 I wouldn't hesitate to do so.
I find them the perfect balance between old school and modern with a smart balanced look,
but since it is a different ECU I don't think it's possible.

If I come across a better looking display I'll consider upgrading.

No way that I will go back to the original.

With the unbalanced analog / digital set up and indicator lights put any old where they just don't do the bikes justice.

Nicely done!
Could you give details on how you bypassed the dash and immobilizer/chipped key system?

.
At the moment I've extended the loom and retained the original speedo in the tail tidy.
This is an ongoing development though. The guys from guzzitech advised that the bike will start and run with the speedo disconnected
and that no damage can be done trying this. I did and the bike does start and run.
Alternate systems will be needed for indicators etc.
We're coming into Spring here and all I'm interested for the next months is riding.
Come Winter though I'll continue with the speedo issue.
As I see it at the moment I'll leave the existing loom so that I can plug in the original speedo
for diagnoses, but remove it the rest of the time.
This is the instrument cluster I would use if there were any way of achieving it
