At the moment I've extended the loom and retained the original speedo in the tail tidy.
This is an ongoing development though. The guys from guzzitech advised that the bike will start and run with the speedo disconnected
and that no damage can be done trying this. I did and the bike does start and run.
Alternate systems will be needed for indicators etc.
We're coming into Spring here and all I'm interested for the next months is riding.
Come Winter though I'll continue with the speedo issue.
As I see it at the moment I'll leave the existing loom so that I can plug in the original speedo
for diagnoses, but remove it the rest of the time.
