Anyone else do DGR yesterday ?

DGR was very quiet affair this year & mate & I couldn't even find any other riders in Manchester despite riding around lots (& then some) to look for them....both ended the day drinking beer in my back garden (also now banned in greater manchester, not illegal in his county 2 miles down the road !).   Best bit was doing 1 hour in fantastic weather riding with just a flat cloth cap (worked fine below 40mph & carefully keeping my head downwards); seemed police driving opposite direction didn't notice.....I took the V50 just to look more vintage (used GRiSO last year)

It was a perfect day for it here and I saw several others participating. It’s a great event that wasn’t spoiled by the current restrictions.

I didn't know anyone was checking ....as long as the charity money flows in I thought you could do what you liked = distinguished is a subjective area !

Been that way over here for the last few years - if your bike isn't old, you are not welcome - even if it is Europe's oldest continuous brand. I wanted to help but with those politics, they can count me out. Plenty of other worthy causes...
