| Dear All.
Just a few lines to introduce myself. Doug here from outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria. I'm on my second GRiSO. Had an early 1100 (yellow) and now a 2010 1200 8v in white.
A pic is attached (hopefully). The muffler is agostini and to my eye suits the classic retro form very well. Since that pic I've added a brown leather corbin seat, halcyon bar end mirrors and lowered the foot pegs and controls. I'm about to add heated grips and looking a a fairing for winter. I lust after spoked wheels!
I commute into the city every day, about 50 plus km round trip. I ride in all weather as the alternate is a bus !
Any way, that's a bit about me. Hope to contribute to the discussions.
Cheers,
Doug. | |

| Welcome Doug! You've found the spot for all things GRiSO when you're on the computer instead of the saddle. That Agostini pipe is a looker and it's on my short list for replacing my giant Buck Rodgers rocket booster looking stocker. Did it require any fueling adjustments, or perhaps it was already on the bike when you got it?

| Good to have a new Aussie member here Dougie. Glad to see you took the post-a-photo tutorial - that Ago pipe is almost as good looking as my GPR. Hope you enjoy your Melbourne winter commute in that open-face helmet mate. | |

| Thanks for the welcome all.
Don, no fueling adjustment required. Slipped right on. I have installed the Cat converter can "thingie" between the headers and the muffler and also run the DB killer for every day use. On special occasions I'll take it out but it is VERY loud. Nice level of roar and pop even with the DB killer in.
Cheers,
Doug | |

| Hi Doug, almost bought a new set of wire wheels for the Bellagio. Check out the Kineo wheels via [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Bruno (Saturno, half of Ghezzi & Brian) seems very helpful. The Kineo's are lighter than Guzzi wire wheels, and are tubeless to boot without the leaking nipples that Alpina wheels sometimes suffer from. |

| No Aussie Kineo dealers as far as I can tell, they will still set you back about AUD$3000 but will be plug-n-play.
Alpina do the tubeless spoke wheels with 'O'rings and clips on the nipples for the Stelvio and quite possibly the GRiSO. They refused point blank to sell me just rims and nipples as I wanted the carbon fibre rim. They were over AUD$3500.
Your options are, buy GRiSO wire wheels from a wreck. Buy Bellagio wheels and have 18" front re-spoked to 17" but you will have to run tubes in both wheels, = weight gain.
Or buy the Kineo wheels and have an individualized GRiSO....................................... or wait until I perfect the BST carbon fitment.
