| I have a 2016 GRiSO, but feel it is speed limited to 125mph. Pisses me off on the track when I'm trying to kick some ass on some 600's. Those pesky kids! Lol. Does a beetle map cure this crap because I am showing like just below 7000 rpm and would like to pull to redline on occasion. Thanks | |

| Do you mean the power goes 'Flat' at about 6,000-6,500? Like hitting a soft rev limiter?
If so it's because the cam timing is out a tooth on one cylinder. Check it.

| Hey, Freewaystreak, Welcome to the Ghetto! Surprised to see a GRiSO from El Paso, my home town! Was just down there with the sidecar, wife and dog in 2018, visiting a couple of old friends from El Paso High. My buddy Ted owns the King's X which hasn't changed since we were in high school when his old man ran the place. | What a small world, next time your in town would love to meet up with you! Been playing with idea of a hack for one of my bikes, either the Monster 750 or the V7III. Spent many a good time in Kings X. Last time I was there was a bike night and I won the slow drags on my Hypermotard. | |

| V7 would be more suitable for a chair as it actually has a full cradle frame. It would need to be a light chair though, something like a Velorex. | |

| California 1100 Stone Hydro, that's the one for me. Did you ever get yours sidecarized, Pete? No response from Barry re: triple clamp. I can measure it out for you if you want when you get to that point and you can have one made yourself.
Freeway, King's X is a classic dive bar. Like I said, it hasn't changed in all these years, not even the carpet I don't think. Like the sign says, Serving El Paso since 1963. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]“Danger + Survival = Fun.” - Neil Peart[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The sidecar thing is actually in abeyance at the moment for two reasons. Firstly, although I'm on the home straight and all of the major work is done I suddenly, completely, lost interest in the Cali. All the major work is done, the final Hydro kit is in, new clutch and gearbox, it's all back in a rolling chassis and I just haven't been able to drum up the interest to complete it! it's been like that for about eight months! I really should get on with it. The second thing is I have a line on a really nice FJ900 Yamaha which I think would make a superb sidecar tug. I think I can probably snag it for two grand if I play my cards right and that would make a lot more sense to me. Then I'll just get the Cali up and running and flog it.

| Sounds like a reasonable plan. I was kind of looking forward to you building a twin to mine though. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]“Danger + Survival = Fun.” - Neil Peart[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
