Not sure if the pic shows, but a basically stock '07 GRiSO.
Need recommendations on a replacement for the OEM muffler; nothing wrong with it, other than it is SO LARGE and obscures the lovely wheel beneath.
Would like to have something smaller which looks nice on the bike without it sounding like a Harley.
Cheers!

Welcome to the Ghetto TK. My first GRiSO was a red '07, see avatar - had a lot of fun with that one. On the current '13 8V I opted to keep the stock muffler. I'm one of those weirdos that really loves it.

I have the Agostini Oval. I like the look, and sound. I doubt it's much, if any, louder than stock, and has a nice tone. Looks great with that wheel as a backdrop.

I guess I need an ed-u-ma-ca-shun on how to simply upload photos here.
Mine seems to be similar to Street's; red '07 but with a simple Puig flyscreen.

Pete,
Thanks; that's why I bought it in the summer of 18; for $3 k I thought I couldn't go wrong with an '07 with 9 k miles. Yeah, it has minor annoyances [couple screws missing; instrument cluster has a greeblie loose inside, etc.] but it's a beaut. Guy had had it services initially at the dealer and then at a reputable mechanic; never even changed his own oil.
beetle,
Wait, you mean I actually have to use soap when I wash??!

Pete, riding in the occasional unexpected shower doesn't count as "cleaning".
I do not understand this term 'Cleaning'? Does it make the bike run better? Go faster? Handle or stop betterer? If not why is it considered important?

Absolutely not, but it does prevent you from having to describe it as "looks like it was dragged through a hedge backwards".

None of the above. It has been know to prevent rust, descriptions of "pulled through a hedge backwards", and even 🤮

I guess I'm a weirdo (and maybe a creep). I dig the stock exhaust AND I like to keep my baby clean. Whatever makes you happy...cuz I'm a creep. I'm a weirdo...what the hell am I doin' here?

I'm thinking no, as in the 'preview' nothing shows. Apparently this bb ONLY uses servimg.com as a host for pics.
Every bb / forum is different, and I guess I'm spoiled off of the simplicity of the only other one I use being pretty much soldier-proof.
The very first post in this sub-forum (pinned) is precisely meant for new members and summarizes most of the features and procedures available in this forum. And it's only a clique away...
