Hi, I got a question that may interest others too

I believe its time to replace my ECU, I wonder all IAW5AM - HW610 are the same...
If I get one for a GRiSO 850, or Stelvio, or Sport 1200, or Breva, could I download the GRiSO 1100 map to it and install it to my bike? Wouldn't mind even if it has a ducati label on it...
I don't even think about paying the official price to the official channel.

FYI
The Error ECU 25 (P0352) I though that was solved, since 2017 reapeared more and more often, it became constant, lately the bike started to run strangely...
New relay, new wire to the coil, new coil connector, new coil, new wire from the coil to the ECU connector... The error is there.

Thanks for your advice

Yes.

Might be worth saving your eeprom to load into the new ECU.

Update:

First of all, thanks beetle for pointing at the eeprom.

- Got an ECU from a Breva ABS.
- Before removing the G11 ECU saved its eeprom, as I saved the Breva eeprom and map as soon as I installed the new ECU to my G11.
- Loaded the saved G11 eeprom data and map to new ECU.
- All data seemed ok in guzzidiag (tps reset needed)
- start button, engine started normaly, test ride was absolutely fine

The Ducati ones are usually less expensive on eBay as they are more plentiful.

I recently compiled this list from data found elsewhere. (dont ask me where, I forgot)
I replaced my STelvio ECU with one from a Ducati 848, provided FOC by a freindly Ducati mech from Australia.

Code:
All the following bikes share the same ECU as the MotoGuzzi Stelvio
(and other Guzzis, incl Breva, GRiSO, Norge, 1200 Sport

Thee ECU is the Magneti Marelli IAW 5AM

Replacing the ECU in the Stelvio, if needed, just requires
the Stelvio map to be loaded.
