New/Old guy here now

Hi guys, Just picked up my bike and rode it home today! Should have worn a full face helmet and/or wish I had a windscreen because at 85 mph things get a little blurry with just glasses.
Ben through a lot of bikes since 1968; Triumph, Norton, BMW, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawi, Ducati,Harley, but this is my first Guzzi. Got the lower pegs and cut the stock seat down for my 5'7" body. Just ordered some grip puppies and thinking about some bar risers.
Looking forward to some quality time in the saddle.

Funny, I'm 5'7 as well but I don't need to alter the bike to fit my ergos yet.
I understand if you do though and for tall guys it's almost mandatory but then again, you have no business being tall and riding motorcycles!! Razz

Thanks for the welcome guys! I always prefer to get both feet flat on the ground when I stop.
Plus my driveway is fairly steep so backing out and turning around can be an issue. Step on a leaf and "plunk". I do ride up to Newcomb's once in a while!
