| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I’ve been a triumph street triple rider for what seems like forever. When the GRiSO first appeared in 2008 I instantly fell in love with it & promised myself that one day I would own one.Fast forward to November 2017 when it came to my attention that the new Euro 4 compliance would probably be the end of production for the GRiSO.I quickly made my way to A1 motorcycles in Ringwood to place an order only to be told that they had lost the distribution to Peter Stevens Motocycles.I promptly jumped on the triumph & made my way there to buy the GRiSO,lucky for me they had two new ones in stock, the very last one’s. I paid a deposit & had them fit some extras to the bike & happy days,I absolutely love this bike with a passion. My only complaint are with the brakes, they have a lot of trouble pulling the bike up in emergency situations.Riding such a heavy bike compared to the street triple has taken a lot of adjustment, but I’ve adapted over time. The reefton spur is a road I ride on a regular basis along with the Elidon/Jameison road, both are very tight technical roads which the triumph would do well, the GRiSO takes a lot more thinking to get around these roads as it can’t be flicked around like the triumph.I’m going to buy the latest RS street triple in the next six weeks as my daily commute,I want to keep the kilometres low on the GRiSO as it will be my keeper. Can anybody point me in the right direction in regards to a suspension specialist. The bike dives down under heavy braking sometimes causing the rear to lock up.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers. | |

| Lots of threads on suspension on the Ghetto. Lots of ways to avoid having to deal with PS as well. | |

| Replace the stockers with EBC FA244 HH pads and you will be happy.

| Its never going to flick like a street triple as its wheel base is more than 5 inches longer and the weight it carried low.
If you keep the bike stock you can raise the forks up to the 5th line and that helps speed up the steering.
If you run out of ground clearance, pegs on the right side stand on the left then a longer rear shock is required. A lot of folk, including me have fitted the standard Stelvio shock which fits right in and raises the back end an inch, you then have to drop the front forks back to the 1st line to raise the front. This is the best solution i have found so far, a lot more ground clearance, the stevio shock works a LOT better than the GRiSO as it also has a stiffer spring, happy days. You can also invest in a nice adjustable longer rear shock if your bank balance allows, just remember the spring rates when you do!
The wide handlebars help!!!! | |

| Thank you all for the advice. The brake pads will be changed by weeks end as this is my major concern. As for the suspension I will think about which direction I will go.My bike is still under warranty so nothing can be done until it’s out of warranty.Cheers for the welcome too.
Thanks. | |

| Welcome to the Ghetto. Pete Roper changed my suspension for Matris front and rear and the difference is fantastic. It is expensive though and if you don't have the reddies, the Stelvio shock may be the way to go. | |
