7kg frame: Yes Please. Tick.
26 degree rake: Down from 26.3. Tick.
Trail? Obviously shorter than the original 108mm.
Wheelbase 1470mm: Down from 1554mm. Big tick.
Total weight: Who knows?

Needs Carbon fibre wheels, I know how to fix that!

I’ve just got home from there, been to pick one of those Varano kits from Vito Guareschi - only takes 18hrs to drive from Guareschi Moto!

Hi could this ever be made street legal?

Anything is possible, Moby - but probably not easily in good old Oz - unless you just swap over the bits, graft on lights, blinkers etc, and tell no-one. I have done it before, and didn't get busted...

However, I think the worst case would be non-compliance, instead of no rego - the Engine number will still be the same, just the chassis different. Could get an engineer's certificate, through that system, perhaps?

Why not copy the frame number and rivet on your original compliance plate.

Yes, I also thought of all Ron's hard work ................

There were some Austrian guys making MGS-01 body kits for V11's with all the necessary lights etc, some added these to genuine MGS-01's and had them registered. So a fairing with headlight should be readily available to add to this kit.
