| Subject: Fork Oil Seal Fitting tool ? Fri Aug 31, 2018 3:16 pm | |
| Hello there awesome GRiSO Riders
looking at the manual for fork seal replacement
It calls out for a 43mm fitting tool for the Oil seal AND a 41mm fitting tool for the sealing ring.
I thought I only needed the 43mm tool to bash the oil seal in.
Is the Other one needed or can I just push the dust seal with a flat head screw driver or something?
Thanks! | |

| You can push it in, by hand, I think. Maybe that's the other way up forks too. | |

Yes, the Dust seal will go in easy with a minimum of persuasion. Seal install tools can be made from the right sized PVC pipe cut length ways , held together with a hose clamp or 2 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
