| Hello everyone! Been looking at the GRiSO for a while, and finally made it happen. Thought I was going to have to go to Illinois to get one, when I walked into Leo's and there was one just sitting there. 2016 GRiSO 1200 8V SE in red. Picked her up this morning and put 260 miles on her, and quite pleased. Will have her resprung for my lard ass in a couple weeks during first service, get the sag and such all dialed in. Will also be doing a Beetle remap to deal with the flat spot, but not sure if I'll be doing a new exhaust. The stock one actually sounds pretty good to me. Been riding about a year, put 17k on an '82 Honda CM250C and an '81 Honda GL500 Silver Wing since last May. Really digging having 3x the horsepower and torque. Two questions: Any recommendations on getting the tank stickers off without messing her up? What magic technique am I missing on how to tighten up the mirror arms? The right-hand mirror arms is loose and spins a bit. Have tried 'screwing' it in both LH and RH, and doesn't seem to make a difference. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Welcome! A little bit of heat applied to the stickers will help. Warm them up, pick at a corner with fingernail until lifts, then gently pull while applying heat. Not too much heat, mind! For the mirrors, pull up the rubber cover and use two wrenches. First, nip up the mirror mount screwed into the reservoir pillar, the hold it with one wrench while you tighten the clamping section down with the other. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Welcome ! I like the sound of the oem exhaust as well. Then again I haven't heard others on a GRiSO. Ignorance is bliss ! | |

| Welcome....agree standard exhaust works well and doesn't (so much) need ear plugs, but I think most people go for termi and other variants mainly for the look, closely followed by louder noise (and in my experience harsher vibration)......it defo isn't a performance thing although others may (will ) disagree as std exhaust works fine IMHO - but I went for the sound angle. May be a thread already on this but I think std sounds like a Chinook at distance whereas Termi is more angry Apache close in.
Either way you've bought a fantastic bike with unlimited riding and customisation | |

| Welcome aboard. I like the OEM exhaust too. Plus I'd rather spend the money on a beetle map. If the stickers leave a stick flim, you can use WD-40 to safely remove the residue. | |

| Welcome! I like the stock exhaust too, but never heard any others.
Beetle map has been a great improvement.
