One of the first things I do with a new to me bike is add decent horns
I like the Fiaam Freeway Blasters because they are Italian and nice and loud, for about $35 they come in a matched pair with a relay.
Always provide the horns with their own relay and a direct feed from the battery, don't skimp on the wire size, I only had 18 gauge so I ran a pair of those from a new fuse at the battery.
They will work on the factory wiring but only at half volume, too much resistance.
Just use one of the original pair of wires to pick up the relay coil.

There's not a lot of room under the side covers so I had to mount them sideways on a right angle bracket.

The relay is ty-wrapped to the RH bracket, blue wire jumps across to the LH horn thru a bit of tubing

With the covers on the red plastic is invisible.

If you stretch your imagination the horns could represent ripe nipples on those lovely pert jugs.

Nice work, I want better horns on my 2013. I tried mounting a Steble Nautilus but could not find a good place for it. I like what you did there
