| Like my disks waving at me - just saying. They are different to the ones shown, I think. | |

| Mine came with waves.
A dull boy, I suppose, as I hadn't even noticed 'til someone pointed them out.

| Bit like tappets; anything with flats on it doesn't work well on a GRiSO | |

Now, that's funny. Helps explain why I ride so well: I have a rounded, not flat, belly. Bill | |

| I believe there were at least two different types of 'Wave' rotors fitted to various runs of Grisos. My very early bike had 'Braking' rotors. Later bikes like Mark's which I think was a 2010 had another patern rotor and I think were manufactured by another company? Not terrifically important, I just thought I'd throw it into the mix. I too have no use for silly shaped rotors but they're good enough for the 'Turdio' Pete | |

| I was planning on putting cast iron rotors on mine, but when the Grimeca's became available at that insane price, it was too good to pass up.

| Mark, your pics above have me wondering how in a hot climate you kept your oil cooler cover from doing “the wave”. Mine is crookeder than our dear leader the stable genius! | |

| I think it's just dumb luck. Some warp just by looking at them. Mine, not so much.

| My Wave rotors are Braking Brand. Apart from a truly warped right disk (I dropped the bike getting it off a trailer once, and bent it) they have been good. 110,000 km on them now and still the original brake pads on the front - me likes engine braking, so front brakes are there for the ID10Ts that are allowed to co-exist on our roads. | |

| The light Grimicas exist in two tastes, with steel center(guzzi), and aluminum center, rsv4. Look is identical, only when you take a good look you'll notice. And partnumer is different But Grimeca stoped making them, so there are same shape, without grimeca on them. Sunstar is a chineese manufaturer, they made the 1995 - 2002 disks for Guzzi with the round holes in the golden center, we all thought is was brembo. the rsv4 grimeca [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| I like the wavy ones and have the earlier version (according to Pete's post earlier) I think they add to the design asthetics, evey other bike has round disks, how ordinary they look!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
