| Which is great. I think they are still selling them here as 2017/18 models but the fact remains they stopped making them in mid 2016. At least that is my firm belief. It's like 1200 Sport-8V's, they were selling them in Oz as 2015 models but production ceased in 2011! That's why none were ever made with rollers!

| Last year of production for CARC bikes was 2015... Left over production (mostly US market) is titled as 2016 and 2017 but built in 15 anyway. Stop masturbating, GRiSO is dead... As for the V9, It's a joke so it doesn't matter which configuration they come up with that mill. Until they fill the gap between 900cc and 1400cc with a NON cruiser crap, nothing to see here, move along folks! lol | |

| Nup. They were still building them in mid 2016. There was a pallet of 1200 motors labeled 'GRiSO' on the assembly line floor when we were there for the 95th aniversary bash. I think they were probably close to the last though....

| Good morning GRiSO guys, The Tokyo motor show is over now. Please have a look to this amazing bike: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]During 1976 and 1980 I owned (prowdly) three Kawas: Z750/Z650/Z1000. It was a fantastic period of time. But I never owned the Z900 (Frankenstein's daughter as it was called by a German motorcycle yournalist). This was the time, when proud riders named there bikes "machine" and not "moped" as it is used by today in the German speaking countries. Fortunately, after decades of futuristic design monsters, Kawasaki turns back to the successful bikes of the 70th, which created fun and emotions to our generation. If Guzzi will not present new concepts at Eicma 2017, which will create such emotions, I will think about to purchase it as third bike besides my GRiSO and BMW enduro. We will see end of next week! Congratulations - a good idea - and for sure a big success story! | |

| I don't want to sound negative, but .....................
1. The V7 was/is a small and relatively light weight bike, the sole reason for making it a sweet ride. 2. The addition of capacity/power would be an improvement, however ............ 3. It looks to have gained much size and weight. 4. When you add all the "adventure" fruit, it will be a porker. (McDonald's supersize) 5. Still twin shock. 6. Swingarm angle and front forks suggests no real increase in travel. 7. Guaranteed prototypes quality running gear will be dropped for cheap shit in production.
thanks for the correction Pete, getting sloppy in my old age.

| Swing arm is twin sided with single cantilever shock. Budget, if not poverty pack.
I want to know what's under the rocker covers....

| So...still a void to fill between 900 and 1400cc!! Although a roller 8V 900 mill on a light frame could be a winner in that bracket... Not a bike for me anyway, I don't do wanna be off road types. Besides, I'm only 5.7 so it would have to be real light like the sadly no longer produced 650 XRR or similar. | |

| Wish the concept/prototype were more Stornello/V7 Scrambler than Stelvio. I agree with Mark - this one looks like a cartoon. Once can only hope a more 'sophisticated' color is available if/when production happens. | |

| I like it, even the colors. I used to have a Bumble Bee R100GS and my race Guzzi and leathers were black and yellow.
If it didn't inevitably weigh over 500 pounds, I'd buy it

Let's see! Kinda describes the Stelvio. If indeed this new bike does come in at 80hp and 440lbs, it will have a power to weight ratio very close to the Stelvio.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Interesting that this view of the white one has black valve covers. I don't know how much of this stuff is simply photoshopped, but it's helpful to imagine different schemes. I like it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
