Hello,
I got sick of breaking the stems on the stock signals on my 2009 GRiSO everytime I took my bike cover off/put it on. I bought some nifty LED signals from BikeMaster complete with the resistors wired in. It was super-simple to splice the rear signals in and mount them to my aftermarket tail tidy brackets, mainly because that part of the wiring harness was so accessible. Not so with the front. I know plenty of you have probably been through this procedure and, because I really don't know how to make sense of a wiring diagram - what bits do I need to remove from the bike to get to the place where the wires come from? The headlamp? The headlamp and the instrument panel? How much dis assembly is in order here? I'm asking because I need to hide the resistors so just splicing wires and screwing studs into posts is not the answer I'm looking for. I need a place to hide this stuff.
Also - I have searched this site and not been able to find a link to an easy-to-understand approach to this. Most of what I've found are discussions about resistors and problems related to the LEDs blinking/not blinking/blinking too fast and/or discussions about everybody's favorite brand of turn signal.
Sorry if I have missed the correct links to the correct posts.
Thank you!
