| Thank you for those photographs! Very clear. All I can do now is hoping the thread for the bolt isn't too badly damaged (as the bolt got ripped out with the lever, essentially) otherwise I need to re-thread it. | |

| Would have expected the bolt to shear and leave an end in the back of the sidepanel; if it's ripped out it'll need some work to put an insert I guess but there seems to be plenty of metal around the bolt anchor point - here's another shot [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Appreciated! I won't know for sure if any part of the bolt is still in there until I remove the panel. But I want to wait until the insurance's damage expert comes by next week before I do anything else.
On another note, the delivery guy that caused it all apparently had my phone blacklisted so I couldn't reach him to fill in the damage forms...what a piece of shit. Finally got in contact with his manager, with some insisting on my part I can now come by their warehouse to fill in the forms under the manager's supervision...pfff | |

| They are also selling the gear lever & linkage for 75 gbp if you need that (also from Lu). Can be a bit expensive & I've tried bidding them down in the past but they refused the offer - was for pair of used throttle bodies. | |

| Thanks, good to know about the side panel. I already found their gear lever + linkage. But 80€ for a second hand part they say is (lightly) scratched I find a bit steep. And like you they flat out refused my bids. I found this ball joint on a dutch site: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Would that be likely to fit the linkage? I'm assuming I need right threaded? | |
