Hi Guys, unfortunatley at the end of a 5 day trip I dropped my beloved GRiSO. The damage is not too bad .. some scratches on the left hand side valve cover. When she was laying on her side I noticed some oil film around one of the screws that holds the valve cover on place. After getting home I took the cover off and what I can see is some seemingly excessive oil around. I am not a born mechanic as you may have guessed so I took a photo so someone may be able to help me whether this looks ok or something has cracked inside. Ii tightened the screws woo now.
Anyone any thoughts? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
László

There's lots of oil in the top end, the cam bearings are pressure fed and plenty gets thrown around.

I had exactly same when I dropped it when the cam cover got minor scuff....oil weep around the bumped cam cover; but after slackening and resitting everything it went away....suspect it is just the engines way of crying about being dropped.
