| I wandered around the ghetto for some times as, I think, many GRiSO fan and I decided to jump in today I just bought my second 1200 8V SE in february. I bought it new and it will be one of the last to be sold in France as production for Europe had to stop by December 31st, 2016. This lovely "Rosso Trofeo" was in stock at a dealer's not (that) far from home. As my Previous 2013' Black Devil bought 2nd hand 18 month before with 16000 km (i.e.10000 miles ) was then more than 35000 km (around 22000 miles ) I decided to buy this very last to keep it as long as possible as this is the most terrific bike I ever had .... well the second most terrifc in fact as I also own a V10 Centauro that brings me in the Moto-Guzzi world of sensations. I love this bike too much and I spent a lot of time, effort (and money ) to make it as reliable as possible. But, as it is getting now 17 years old, I am trying to keep it healthy. So, I chose the 1200 8V GRiSO as its direct successor for daily use and every day is making me happier to own one Beside the Guzzi's, my wife rides a BMW F650 Scarver (a weirdo with the Rotax single engine) and my elder daughter a Ducati Monster 620 ie. There is also a 1981's Honda 250XLS that needs to be refreshed (it was my second bike that I never minded to sell ). To complete this quick puicture, I am also found of Rock Music, especially when rooted in Punk and a Linux/Free Softwares Geek | |

| Tres magnifique!
Welcome Rock80, you are amongst brethren! Guzzi is in your soul, and the Centauro/GRiSO fills it best I think. | Hmmm-just got back from France, Charentes Maritime to be exact. Didn't ride a Guzzi. Fixed and rode a 1962 Renault V75 instead. Nearly as much torque as a GRiSO. | |

| Welcome from the top of Virginia. Great story and pix -- tho I just saw this thread for first time; nonstop houseguests, etc. for what seems like weeks, so some slipped through. Regrettably, you do seem to suffer from that same lamentable taste in rock ... I decline to call it music. Best wishes for more miles of smiles on your new (and older) Guzzis. Bill | |
