| this morning wanted to start signora GRiSO for the first time after I bought her, and no response whatsoever. nothing. Battery check: 14,8. Gear position; neutral. Sinde standard; upright. pulled the gearshift on and on. I even changed the code with the two keys because I think it could be the reason. checked the fuse box, all ok. disconnecte the battery, connected it again, put contact spray on all the essential items. Nothing, nada. She even doesn't try anything. Only the display and the horn functions well. but i need more to drive the damn machina. | |

| Startus Interuptus? Or perhaps a poor contact at the main earth point above the starter motor? | |

| She rumbles! it was a poor fuse in the rear fuse box, I used a lot of contact spray and there she goes | |

| And better still, do not re-attach the earth to the original position with the 5mm screw.
Drill the eye out to 8mm and attach to the crankcase/gearbox stud just left of its original position. (Make sure the lead will reach first).
I had multiple fault codes, all earth related. Made a new earth cable and still had fault codes, moved it as described and never a problem since. |

| As Ghezzi says, relocation of the earth enables things to work correctly as designed. Why it's not there in the first place, I don't know... | |
