| Anybody's been working with both of these and can recommend one? Twinmax Carbtune
So far I've only been working with the round gauges and would love something more stable. Since I only own two cylinder bikes both would be fine.

| Twin Max is a horrible thing. So horrible I gave mine away to someone so primitive he thinks carburettors are a nice thing! (Some people won't understand this.)
Carbtune is a fine tool.

| Just an opinion, but one based on experience rather than hearsay.
I know lots of people think I'm an opinionated dolt but I find that on the internet especially it is best to state one's case clearly and concisely. Pussyfooting about and trying to be *Nice* about everything is rarely productive. I try hard not to be rude but some people have such a thin skin that if they aren't agreed with they feel slighted. It is never my intention but, if they feel that way? Sorry, not my problem! Believe me, if I think you are a 'Rhymes with Runt' I will tell you!
I think most people who have met me, (And a lot on this board have.) know that I'm neither a condescending and patronising prick or a bully. I'm just a comaratively harmless idiot who happens to be fairly knowledgeable about Moto Guzzis and midget porn.

| I don't know from Twinmax, but I've been using the Morgan Carbtune for several years now and am very happy with the way it performs. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special | |

| Best sort. Tiny files so they download really quickly and they're small enough to fit on the screen of your phone. What's not to like? | |

| Didn't like the Twinmax bouncing needle; it never seemed to dial in enough. But if you like the digital route, this is what I use and it works great (I think anyway): https://tecmate.com/products/carbmate/ As far as midget porn, well ... Mr. Roper makes a compelling case | |

| I explained that to a nerdy bloke in the pub a couple of years ago and his response was "It doesn't work like that.". Seriously! I felt like calling an ambulance as the retard's sense of humour had obviously had a life threatening FAIL! People, at least some people, must live in a horribly cold, dark, humourless world! | I like my carbtune. I've had it since my Suzuki days. That'd be the Cryptozoic era. It's never let me down. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Thanks to all. Seems to be a clear picture -apart from the midget porn.
@Pete: That wasn't criticism, just a thank you. There are dozens of threads on the net about these tools, telling you that "you can use both or even better a tube level" -that doesn't help. I kinda like clear answers. Even more than reproducing midgets.
