Now that i have scratch i need to top up and may as well paint the sump that has been pebble dashed, does anyone have a paint code or colour match for the engine/gearbox/carc on an 8V?

If you take it to a good automotive paint supplier they can run a light pen / wand over the existing paint and give you an exact match. Alternatively (in the UK) others have used Hammerite satin finish or Plasticote BBQ paint. Just a word of caution – most paints available to joe public are restricted by health & safety / environmental policies so may not perform as well as you want. How big a job would it be to remove the sump and get it powder coated?

powder coating is an option for the sump, but i have a small scratch on the Carc and oil cooler cover, so would like some touch up, i wll have a looksee at your other too suggestions, thanks
