I've always loved the GRiSO as a Touring bike - 2007 1100 and 2013 1200SE:

Hi All
Lot of people bag out the GRiSO for touring.
BUT people have gone around the world and lesser bikes.
Just don't take the whole freaking house as some do.

Bill I have the same bags H/B good bit of gear.

Harry
What do I know, I own a GRiSO and proud of it.

Thanks, Mate. It is pretty sweet for sure, but I loved the GRiSO Rosso for 50K miles before it got "retired" (totaled).
