Newbie to the MG GRiSO world. Had previously posted that my new GRiSO had failed me after riding just over a kilometre. Turned out to be a faulty ignition switch. Was replaced and put 100 Klicks on it today. Worked perfect, really like the bike. However...when I was cleaning the grunge off it, noticed a short hum noise about every 2 minutes. Still doing it. Is this normal or am I heading back to the dealer again?

If it's a North American market bike it will have a valve between the tank and the charcoal canister. When you park up there is heat soak back from the motor to the tank and the fuel and air in the tank expands. Open your tank and you'll get a 'Whoosh' as it depressurises but in the normal course of events what happens is when the pressure reaches a certain level it burps through the valve into the charcoal canister. It's what it's supposed to do. Don't worry about it.
