Hi all,my names Karl and Ive just got myself a 2008 1200 GRiSO. I live in Peterborough which is 80 miles north of London. Ive only done about 300 miles due to the weather but it puts a smile on my face.

No Pete,dont think it has. Checking any service history to see if I can claim,had new cams and followers at 600 miles. Now showing 11,000 miles. Non roller type.

Hi Karl, great bike, it will really grow on you Smile

I've only just started rollerizing my 2008 after Pete and others here finally got thru my thick skull that although the bike runs fine and the tappet clearances are perfect, the flatties will be worn, ... and they were.

It's easy to check, so I recommend having a look now before you add many miles to it.

(I put mine back together and rode it for a while after checking as the GRiSO is just so addictive to ride!)

The other thing I did, which transformed my GRiSO, was to have the suspension reconditioned as my rear shock was knackered and way undersprung.

Thanks all for the welcome,next plan of action is to get it rollerised.Trying to get enough service history together to see if Piaggio will supply the parts on warranty. I live in hope..
