2017 - news

Was at the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando yesterday and dropped into the Piaggio display.  They had several V7, V9, a GRiSO, an Audace, an Eldorado and an MGX-21.  

I asked about the future of the GRiSO and one of the Piaggio reps said that they are looking at a limited run of 2017 GRiSO.  I asked him if he spends time at the factory and he said yes.  I asked the color and he said black and red and it will not have ABS.  I asked a second Piaggio guy there to confirm and he denied it.  

Who knows?

Best way to spread a rumour is to affirm and then deny it. Creates excitement and "demand". Time will tell...

meh...sounds like black and red 2016 model to me that would perhaps be branded as a 2017 a sell off existing stock  ...buy one now as by 2018 they will be gone

They are actually all 2015, no? Since Piaggio stopped production at the end of that year...
So basically, it has been left over stock.

I am looking at the dealer up at Sanford. The GRiSO they had was a '16. The VIN had a G in the year digit.

I saw that one last month or so... was gonna buy it actually but wanted full retail for it so I passed.

I stumbled on  this youtube video entitled "2017 Moto Guzzi GRiSO New Look Big bike Review" which shows some Grisos mixed and matched with other bits. Spare parts specials perhaps?
