Did my typical Sunday Afternoon CL search and was surprised to see an add for an Augustini Hydroformed Pipe with mid-pipe for sale locally.  In short Happy Birthday to me! Got home and of course had to swap it out, quick 5 minute job. Was in shorts and sandals so no ride, but I started it up. Sounds great, nice burble and note with the silencer installed, will likely leave it in.

It looks great too, though it will take a bit to get used to the lack of that Giant sound Torpedo......  Holy cow the stock can is a huge piece of hunka metal, probably saved 10 lbs. I liked the looks of stock, but wanted a bit more sound, unique look and maybe a bit more performance.  I really like the way it reveals the SSA and the curves just seem to fit the bike very well.  I'm happy as this was the only can I really like the look of and it was a killer deal, especially with the midpipe and collector.

I know I dont need to worry about remapping with the can swap, but what about when/if I do the collector? Any remapping necessary?

I have one on my 8v GRiSO and love it. It sounds awesome without the DB killer but is just a tiny bit too loud however it could be a bit louder than standard. I may try drilling some extra holes in the db killer after I get the rollerization done and Beetles map installed.

Downloaded the Beetle Map for the GRiSO 1100 the other day and installed tonight....... All I'm gonna say is Holy mother f*#k!ng $h!t............ What a difference........... I loved the GRiSO as it was, but this is like a different bike..... I'm close to needing a valve adjust, and then a TB sync, and oil change so I imagine it will only get better. So far just a quick ride due to torrential rain, but I look forward to a day thrashing it around the PNW. Between the new pipe and Map, the GRiSO has a whole new attitude and stance........

I did some riding Tuesday night, and liked the improvement in sound, though I noticed a bit less urgency at mid rev's, and no real perceived power increase, but the Beetle map changed that, woke the bike up, and transformed it. Can't wait to get the Norge straightened out (coil is on order waiting for new appt date) then I will set the valves and install the Beetle Map.

FWIW, I'm not going to do the midpipe and collector, anyone interested in it PM me.

** Mark I actually downloaded the right one first time go ;-)
