| I went to a suspension clinic and the expert adjusted my forks and rear shock. It was much better but I noticed he only adjusted the rebound on the right fork. I asked him about this and he said the rebound is adjusted on the right fork and compression is adjusted on the left.
Is this true on the GRiSO?
Or should I transfer his setting to the other fork as well?
The book doesn't mention this.

| No, he's an idiot. The Showas, which are common to just about every Japanese bike with any sporting pretensions, use compression and rebound in both legs. If he can't identify that there are adjusters both at the top and bottom of both legs he can't be much of a bleeding 'Expert' can he?

| Tee Hee Triman , you can't hurt anything by adjusting your suspension, do some reading on the net and have a play. The big secret this dummy has learned is not to have too much Rebound damping. Have Fun | |

| Yes He does know how to adjust forks, well at least ONE fork. He showed me how to adjust out the rebound and it did make a big difference in the ride. Now I need to adjust BOTH forks. I paid $50 for the clinic, I think I should get $25 back! | |

| There are the big nuts on the top of the legs. They control Spring preload. Then there are the screws on the middle of the blue bits on the top and the other ones at the bottom that control the damping.

| When I was a kid my grandfather gave me some sage advice. The first was never mouth off to a cop, the second was ignore those who claim to be experts. Then he would say with the laugh of a mad man and say oh and avoid the clap :-) words to live by ha ha | |
