Met up in Georgetown for a nice ride down to Enumclaw for the monthly Moto Guzzi club breakfast. We had good, clear weather yesterday morning and the roads were nice and dry. Seven of us rode out there together, two GRiSOs, a Stelvio, an Eldorado, a Cali 1400, a Super Tenere and an HD somethingorother.
After a predictably delicious and filling breakfast at the Krain Corner Inn, several of us took a pleasant, meandering route up to Lynnwood for the motorcycle show. Weather was a bit odd with transient snow flurries that weren't substantial enough to hinder our riding, but not all that commonplace for March. Fun though, and a pretty complement to the burgeoning spring time landscape up here in Western Washington.
The EUROMOTO Northwest show had a very good turnout for a somewhat iffy weather day. There were consistently full groups going out on the organized test-rides that included several Moto Guzzis and Aprilias. Likewise, the Moto International booth saw a great deal of traffic the whole time we were there. A lot of interest in all the Guzzis.
Here are some photos:
First stop, a shot of Espresso at my neighborhood café before heading over to Georgetown to meet up with the usual mob.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The just arrived, 2014 Stelvio NTX in Tenni Green livery is a very handsome moto for sure. It had many admirers all day.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the most desirable bike at the whole show... And at $11,499 a crazy bargain!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Kind of difficult to appreciate in this photo, but the matte metallic paint on this 2014 Triumph Speed Triple was gorgeous, but then again, I'm a sucker for matte paint...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I probably should have taken more pictures of many more bikes that included offerings from Ducati, MV Agusta, BMW, KTM, Gas Gas, Beta, and Triumph. Not to mention scooters from Piaggio and Vespa as well as those clunky, funky bikes from India's Royal Enfield...
Then it was off to Ballard
for some tasty beers and chow with Pedro.
All in all, a pretty good day.
