| After the failure of my 2015 GRiSO to start on Sunday resulting in being a non starter for a group ride I thought I should look into the starter bypass mod. A help with some pics of the wiring solution would be appreciated. Thanks

| Only on my phone tonight so struggling to share pics. But do a search for "Startus Interuptus " There's a wiring diagram that "Kiwi Roy " did for this. I've modded one of my bikes , works good. And I'll be doing the other before I take it on another trip, cheers | |

I'm a visual learner so photos of this procedure would be much appreciated. Albeit, now with my new battery the bike starts right up w/o any problems but I'd still like to see how this little mod is accomplished.

| Ron: Couldn't help being a twat and rifling through your pics on photobucket. Maybe i missed it but I never got the whole story on the bad main bearings. What clued you into this? Diagnosis? Thanks! JL [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]" /> | |

| Really good pics of the embedded DLC. Oh, and they're the big ends, not the mains. | |

Ahhhh...Fuck me. I've had BOTH gravel in the engine AND failed tappets. Wonder when the hydro-wedge offered by Motul 10W60 4T finds its limit. Thanks, Pete.

| I only pulled them to have a look see. The bike had some very accurate oil pressure and temp gauges on it and they showed No change from the time they were fitted until engine tear down, some 20K kms. And not a mark of any kind on the crankshaft, so Don't Panic Guzzi Mechanic | |

| Performed the heart bypass surgery this afternoon on the starter. Thanks Tony (oz1200guzzi) for the overview last weekend. Tony it is a yellow wire and I am using a 15 amp fuse off the battery to the relay. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Yellow wire is good, Glenn. Just make sure the taped up wire is taped up good. Good job. | |
